Mental health doesn't exist in a vacuum. What happens in the body affects the mind. What happens in the mind lives in the body. Real healing addresses the whole person, and we build our care around that belief.
Our Perspective
Whole person care. Not just symptom care.
The mind and body are one system, in constant conversation. Chronic stress lives in the nervous system. Grief lives in the chest. Anxiety speaks through the stomach. Trauma is stored in the body long after the mind has tried to move on.
Therapy is often the center of the work, but it is rarely the whole of it, and we've never pretended otherwise. Our training is in the mind, and it runs deep, but it has an edge, and healing that stops at that edge is usually incomplete. When the moment calls for more, we help you find it. We're building relationships, carefully and one at a time, with external practitioners whose work we know and trust: colleagues whose practice we'd consider a genuine extension of our own.
When a referral is the right step, your therapist stays involved. We make the introduction, provide context, and keep the thread of your care connected, so the people supporting you are working together rather than in isolation.
"The part can never be well unless the whole is well."
— Plato
"In our model, referral means building a coordinated team around the client: one that stays connected for as long as it's useful."
How it works
01
Your therapist identifies that additional support would benefit your progress.
02
Together, we work out what kind of support fits, and who is the right person to provide it.
03
We make the introduction, with context and with your consent. You don't start from zero.
04
Your therapy continues. Practitioners stay in communication. You stay at the center.
